Act two went smoothly tonight. All is well and everyone is happy. I think. For being off book for the first time, things went pretty smoothly. A couple of people are still hanging on to scripts like new swimmers at the side of the pool, and there were a couple of hitches here and there, but overall things went well. They went through the whole act once, and then ran over a few bits, like the Mr. Klemper scene, until running out of time at ten.
Things are coming together nicely, I think. Characters are fleshing out well. Jacob feels he was flawless and perfect, and then adds that that was a joke. Jamison says he stumbled over the same lines he always does. Tammi seemed a little nervous, which is sad because Tammi is the best thing ever.
No more rehearsal till Thursday, at which time Lenore is going to do a hostile takeover of stage management. Becky will be elsewhere. Muwahahaha.
