Not tonight, dear. I have a headache

Phil didn't stick around tonight. He was not feeling tip top so he packed up his little bags of tricks and took himself home. We went on without him, because that's what you do. The stage manager takes over and runs things, and the actors do their thing and we all live happily ever after.

Tonight the cast came back together to run the whole show from top to bottom. Some were under the impression that they had to be off book tonight, and there was a certain amount of tension in the air as they worried over lines. As it turned out, they don't have to drop the scripts till tomorrow night. Yay, reprieve! A few brave souls did leave their scripts behind, though, and somehow everyone managed to stumble through rather painlessly. Ron carried his, but I think he was using osmosis because he almost never looked at it.

General feeling seemed to be that the run went well and everyone seemed pleased with the outcome. They all left cheerily, calling out goodbyes and promises to see everyone tomorrow. Whee fun. On the agenda for tomorrow night: running act one, off book. Dun dun duuuunnn.
