Darn Facebook, eating blogs.

Argh. Facebook just ate my blog. It was witty and everything. Now I'm peeved.

Anyway, here we are at the Theatre, yet another evening spent going over and over and over the various bits of act two. Some parts are easier than others, and can be skimmed over once, but then some parts need some love and attention, like the dreadful scene between Barry and his father - dreadful because of the emotional content, not the acting. We sat through that sucker about eight thousand times tonight.

Promptly at ten, Phil called an end to rehearsal and chatted with the cast for a few minutes before sending them home. He commended them on a job well done, saying that he felt things were progressing well, but pointed out that they need to study their lines more. Becky chimed in that cue lines in particular are important. Ah, the mantra of the stage manager. Learn your lines. Your script is your friend.

Tomorrow we are running the whole show. Whee!
